Terms of service

1. Provider and scope

TimeTakt is provided by Mikel Krasniqi, sole proprietor, Höllgehau 10, 86381 Krumbach (Schwaben), Germany; hello@timetakt.com. These terms apply to business customers and consumers. Mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected.

2. Service and account

TimeTakt provides browser-based working-time records, employee management, calendars and absence requests. Customers must provide accurate account details, protect access and assign appropriate permissions. Calculations support administration and do not replace the employer’s responsibility for employment-law decisions.

3. Free use and paid contract

The free plan includes one company and up to three employees. The paid plan costs €5 per month in total for one owner account, including unlimited companies owned by that account and their employees. No separate VAT is charged under § 19 UStG. Membership in a company owned by another account does not transfer the paid plan to that account. Paid access is available only when checkout is enabled. A paid contract is concluded after the customer submits the binding order in Stripe Checkout and receives the order confirmation.

4. Payment, term and cancellation

Payment is handled by Stripe. The subscription renews monthly until cancelled and can be cancelled for the end of the current billing period. Cancellation is available in account billing or at timetakt.com/kuendigung without login. Statutory rights to extraordinary termination and withdrawal remain unaffected. A payment return page alone is not confirmation of payment.

5. Consumer withdrawal

Consumers have the statutory withdrawal right explained at timetakt.com/widerruf. Opening an account or using the service does not by itself waive this right. The separate withdrawal information and model form apply.

6. Customer and employee data

Customers remain responsible for lawful entry and use of employee data, correct work schedules and agreed leave entitlements. Do not enter medical diagnoses or unnecessary health details. Business customers must conclude the required data processing agreement before processing employee personal data. Information is available at timetakt.com/auftragsverarbeitung. 7. Availability and data access

Maintenance and technical interruptions may occur. Statutory rights concerning service defects remain unaffected. Customers should regularly use the available print and export functions and save records required for their own retention duties. Contact support about data access before deleting an account.

8. Liability and final provisions

Liability is unlimited for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, and where required by law. For slight negligence in essential contractual duties, liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical of the contract. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. German law applies without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of habitual residence. Statutory jurisdiction rules apply. Contract languages are German and English.
